 1995 STATE CHAMPION  


Cora (McCoy) Smith, who is a 4th Blackbelt in McCoy's Karate began her training when she was three years old.  Cora, who is the Assistant instructor at McCoy's Karate has won numerous awards, trophies and titles.  In 1995, Cora placed first in Kumite and was named State Champion for the Professional Karate Commission of Kentucky.  In the 1997 State Championships Cora won 1st in Kata, 1st in Weapons and placed 2nd in Kumite losing to P.K.C. National Champion,  A.J. Stokely.  Cora now resides in Raleigh, North Carolina and is married to Jordan Smith.
